Purpose of the Thomas Jefferson Center for Constitutional Studies
"...And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor." This final statement in the Declaration demonstrates the conviction held by the Founders of the Unites States of America. Figuratively speaking they signed their names in blood as they committed an act of treason, punishable by a cruel death, so that we might enjoy freedom today. Dr. Skousen spent virtually a lifetime studying, revealing and writing about the truths the founders immortalized with the pen and through the passage of law for the liberation and protection of the inalienable rights of all God's children.
This blog is sponsored by the Thomas Jefferson Center for Constitutional Studies, which was co-founded by Dr. W. Cleon Skousen and Dr. Glenn Kimber. Its purpose is to act as a forum for discussing principles that made us free. It will also communicate when and where you can meet for enlightening and motivating instruction on the founding principles that unleashed the greatest system of Government in modern times. Imagine being able to understand, articulate and defend these principles in any setting and know how to peacefully preserve and protect this great nation and our Constitution.
